On your phone or cable bill
The charge is on your phone, internet or cable bill, not your card statement.
What to do
- Find the charge on your bill and note the company name printed next to it.
- Call the customer service number on your bill, or use your account on the company's website, and ask them to remove the add-on.
- If you never signed up for it, say so, ask for the charge to be taken off, and ask whether they can block charges from other companies on your account.
- Write down the date, the name of the person you spoke to and any reference number.
There is no single official step list for this: every company's menus differ. These are our plain suggestions. Checked Oct 11, 2026.
After you cancel
- Write down the date and any confirmation number (the Party List has a place for both).
- Watch the next statement. If the charge comes again, contact the company with your confirmation, then your bank or card issuer.
